Well done to Matt Cardle on his fantastic and well deserved victory last night.        I believed in him from day one, placing a fool-hardy bet of £2.50, with some rather risqué odds!

Queenston Arthouse success with secret John Bramwell gig!!

The opening night of Queenston Art House was a total success, full credit to the hard work of Laura Mayall and Terry McDermott on the fantastic organisation of the event.

John Bramwell played a secret gig as a treat for the intimate gathering.



One point to remember - if John Bramwell says that he is going to the bar to get you a drink, he isn't coming back (Mr Forgetfull)!!!

The work from all the artists involved was fantastic, especially that of Russell Hatton and Gail Troth (to name but a few).

Corrie crash - what happened to that poor tram driver??

I am off to Manchester tonight for the Queenston Art House exhibition and it just occured to me... After watching the horrific scenes in Corrie over the last few days, nobody seems bothered about what has happened to the poor tram driver, or any of the other poor sods on the tram!!!

Is it just me, or is that a tragedy in itself. Shame on you Weatherfield!

Queenston Arthouse - A pop up gallery in Didsbury

Laura Mayall is turning her semi-detached house in Didsbury into a contemporary art gallery next weekend.

This will feature my work, alongside 10 other fantastic artists - such as Mark Evans and Gail Troth!

My John Cooper Clarke piece will be exhibited, using the lyrics to his masterpiece 'I married a monster from Outer Space'.
